Middle School Cross Country Program – DearbornTrack ClubThe Dearborn Track Club, in cooperation with the Dearborn PublicSchools, is again hosting its popular cross country program for children ingrades 5-8.Elementary/Middle School Cross Country will meet Monday, Tuesday andThursday at Ford Field from 6:30-8 p.m. beginning the week of September 9.The six-week program will include three weeks of conditioning andtraining and three weeks of meets/training.Cost: $55 for Dearborn residents.Register at www.thedearborntrackclub.weebly.comFor further information, call Mark (313-278-2310) or Gordie (313-410-5608).The Dearborn Track Club is a partnership organization of the DearbornRecreation & Parks Department.Dearborn BaseballDearborn Baseball, a parent-run organization, offers seven baseballleagues for players ages 5-18 as of April 30, 2014.T-Ball, ages 5-6Coach Pitch, ages 6-810 and Under12 and Under14 and Under16 and under18 and UnderDearborn Baseball also offers five fast-pitch softball leagues for girls ages8-18 as of January 1, 2014.10 and Under12 and Under14 and Under16 and Under18 and UnderDearborn Baseball’s season traditionally begins the first Saturday in Juneand extends through July.Registration, which is conducted on-line atwww.dearbornbaseballonline.com, begins January 1, 2014. Completedforms, along with payment and a signed waiver, must be submitted via mailno later than April 10, 2014.Adult Volleyball LeaguesA Coed Recreational Volleyball League will beconducted at the Ford Community & Performing ArtsCenter on Wednesday nights this fall/winter, beginningOctober 9.Teams may carry a maximum of 15 players, each ofwhom must be at least 18 years old as of October 1,2013.Teams are required to pay a $350 entry fee and$12/match in officiating fees.Schedules will be composed of at least 12 matchesand post-season playoffs.Team registration begins September 4 and concludesOctober 2. Space is limited and teams will be acceptedon a first-come, first-served basis.A mandatory managers’ meeting will be heldOctober 2 at 7 p.m. at the Ford Community andPerforming Arts Center.
