He also spoke about item 17A Budget and dropping Full DayKindergarten to ½ day Kindergarten and how this will affect students. He would like thedistrict to keep Full-Day Kindergarten.Amy Andre, Amity – asked the district to not cut the Full-Day Kindergarten program.Mike Lineman, Amity – asked the Board to place Mr. Ross on the Finance Committee.Jade Sweetwood, Birdsboro – asked the district not to cut elementary 4 th grade bandprogram.Thomas Kanuck, Birdsboro – noted that Mr. Ross should be part <strong>of</strong> the FinanceCommittee.Bill Kutz, Amity – asked the Board to re-consider and keep Mr. Ross on the FinanceCommittee.Perry Templin, Union – asked the Board not to backstep education – do not cut educationalprograms before you cut sports programs.Rachel Guilhaus, Amity – asked the Board not to cut Extra-Curricular programs. She feelsthat the extra-curricular programs develop well-rounded students and asked if parentscould pay for their students to join clubs.Lauryn Blakesley, <strong>Douglassville</strong>- spoke about the Finance Committee.Jon Arndt, Amity – asked the Board not to cut Extra-Curricular programs. He feels thatstudents need the Extra-Curricular Program for college applications and this helps themto be leaders.Jane Serianni – Amity – if the district needs to cut programs, and could local companiesassist with financial needs.Shane Kochel, Union Twp. – asked what was being cut from the budget. He askedthe amount <strong>of</strong> the Athletic Budget and could more be cut from that area. He also voicedhis opinion on cutting sports – he noted that not enough students play for the expense.Wendy Pfluger, Union Twp. – asked if the district could investigate into a consortiumwith other districts for sports, etc.Kerylyn Blood, Birdsboro – asked about the projected cuts on extra-curricular programsand sports. She asked that the Board not cut Bowling. She stated that she would bewilling to Pay-to Play.Alicia Guthrie, Amity – asked questions <strong>of</strong> the Full Day Kindergarten program and thetime-frame if there was a change.(names were spelled as closely as handwriting was legible)
