I’ve successfully completed or I’m currently studying a…<strong>CIPD</strong> Advanced Certificate in Human Resourcesor an equivalent university qualification that hasbeen approved by the <strong>CIPD</strong>.If you’ve already completed your qualification orcomplete before 30 January 2014, you’ll remain aStudent member until you’re awarded Associatemembership on 31 January 2014.<strong>CIPD</strong> Postgraduate Certificate in Personnel andDevelopment (Professional Development Scheme(PDS)), or an equivalent university qualificationthat has been approved by the <strong>CIPD</strong>.If you’ve already completed your qualification orcomplete before 30 January 2014, you’ll remain aStudent member until you’re awarded Associatemembership on 31 January 2014.You’ll automatically be awarded Associatemembership if you successfully complete yourqualification from 31 January 2014.We’ll need your results from your study centreby 31 December 2013 to award you your <strong>CIPD</strong>qualification. If we receive your results after thisdate, we’ll be unable to award you your <strong>CIPD</strong>qualification, but you’ll still be eligible for Associatemembership.I’ve not completed my qualification and it’s no longer running. What aremy options?Under Ofqual conditions of recognition, we’re only permitted to award the Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma andCertificate (for example, the <strong>CIPD</strong> Professional Development Scheme (PDS)) until 31 December 2013. If you’renot able to complete your qualification before 31 December 2013 please call us +44 (0)20 8612 6208 to discussyour options. This also applies if you’ve not completed your Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) or Certificate inPersonnel Practice (CPP).I’m a Graduate member. How does this affect me?This change doesn’t affect you if you’re currently a Graduate member of the <strong>CIPD</strong>.Please note that the Graduate grade of membership will be removed from our membership structure on1 July 2014 and that you’ll be automatically transferred to Associate membership on this date.You can transfer to Associate free of charge before 1 July 2014 by simply calling us on +44 (0)20 8612 6208 oryou can apply to become a Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow, subject to your level of experience. How can I rejoin and become anAssociate member?If you’ve successfully completed a <strong>CIPD</strong> qualification or an equivalent approved university programme, you canrejoin immediately and on 31 January 2014 you’ll be awarded Associate membership.
