They’re for aclass in robotics.This class, underthe direction ofchemistry teacherDonald Offner,has been in theschool curriculumfor two years. Theclass uses Legokits to build andprogram robotsto move forward,backward andsideways.The robots arealso programmed to beable to move objects. Thestudents learn to use differenttypes of sensors toactivate the robots.The buzzing from Offner’sroom at secondperiod often sounds likegiant mosquitoes haveinvaded the campus.
