BylawsBylaws: Paying Member DuesEach year, members are askedto pay their <strong>Junior</strong> <strong>League</strong> duesby March 15. According to our Bylaws,dues are $97 for provisionals, active,and associate active members, and theyinclude our per capita fee to AJLI.But what do our Bylaws say aboutmembers who do not pay their dueson time?• A member is responsible for dues for the coming yearif she requests a change in membership status, includingBy Kathleen BurrellBylaws Chairmanresignation, that is not requested and approved prior toMarch 15.• Members who do not pay by March 15 will be requiredto pay a late fee.• A member who does not pay her dues by May 1 isconsidered in bad standing effective June 1.Our Bylaws outline all <strong>of</strong> our membership requirements-a current copy is available on the website.
