What follows is Joss *own account of the trip."I arrived at Boulder Colorado on Tuesday 22nd ofJuly after my first real taste of modern air travel andstill trying to really believe that America is such abig expanse of land. It has to be seen to be believed.I am staying about 10 miles out of Boulder on a newhousing estate. Quite a nice area right out in thecountry. I have today to acclimatise as we are about6,500 ft. above sea level, 97° to 100° F. and thehumidity, an all time low of about 5%. On my firstrun I decided that 5 miles would be enough, but after Ihad run for 3 miles, I had no saliva left in my mouth andI just dried up. I stopped at a golf course sprinklerand managed a mouth full of water to get me home. All the
