In June the pair were appointed by the then Secretary of State, Peter Hain, to find the bestway to address the legacy of the Troubles.The meeting with Lord Stevens, the author of three reports into claims of collusion between the BritishArmy, the RUC, and loyalist paramilitaries, was described as "productive."In his third report, published in 2003, the former head of the Metropolitanpolice reported that he had found evidence of collusion between state forces and the UDA resulting inthe murder of innocent nationalists during the 1970s and 1980s. Bradley and Eames in collusion talks - Derry TodayIt is also believed that Mr. Bradley and Lord Eames also met with members of the inquiry team whoassisted Lord Stevens in compiling his reports.The meetings in London are part of a year-long series of discussion between Mr Bradley and LordEames and various parties in an effort to find a means of supporting victims of the Troubles.Yesterday, Mr Bradley and Lord Eames met with the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission andthe PSNI's Historical Enquires Team in Armagh.
