The Baxter Bow Wows is a socialclub designed for adults and their furry children to have some funin the sun while enjoying dog friendly activities.Baxter has some great trails and one of the best takes you rightdown to the Catawba River. It’s a beautiful walk through the trees,over a bridge, and then to the river overlook platform and fire pit.For this event we will be meeting at the entrance to the Baxter“bring your own builder” section.To find the entrance take Sutton Road, to New Grey Rock Road, toHarvest Point Drive. We will be meeting at the stone gate houseon the corner of New Grey Rock Road and Harvest Point Drive.This walk will take us down Harvest Point Drive through the newcustom area of Baxter and then we will hit the trail down to theriver. Once at the river, we will relax a bit and take in the scenerybefore making the trip back.The walk will be about a 50-minute round trip and will includewalking on non-paved trails. Be sure to wear some good sturdyshoes for the trail and bring some water for you and your pup.So, please join us on Saturday, October 26th at 9:30 am to kick-offyour weekend with some fresh air and exercise. Skipper is very patient while being bathed andbrushed, and although he is wearing his short summer cut now,his hair is beautiful when grown to the floor.
