The JoNMC publishes original articles inthe field of Medicine and allied science s. Contributions are accepted for publication on thecondition that their substance has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.The JoNMC does not hold itself responsib ility for statements made by contributors. Publishedarticles become the property of the JoNMC and cannot be published elsewhere, in full or in part,without the written permission of the Editor. Articles are invited for following sections: Reviewarticle, Original Research Articles , Case Reports , Brief Communications & Letters toEditor. All the articles except Letters to Editors will be peer reviewed.Two high -quality copies should be submitted andauthors should keep one copy for reference. Articlesshould not be more than 5000 words long, must betyped on one side of t he paper only, double -spacedthroughout (including references and tables) and withwide margins; all the pages, including the title page,must be numbered. Submission of the manuscriptalso on writable Compact disks is preferable.Full Length Original Articles/Review article· The first page should contain the full title of thearticle, name (s) of the author (s), in the orderthat is wished for publication, with their degrees,affiliations and complete addresses (specify thename and address for corresponden ce) and arunning title not exceeding 5 words.· The second page should contain the full title(without the name of the authors), abstract notexceeding 200 words, and three to ten keywords. The abstract should clearly describe theaim of the study, importa nt findings andimplications.· The text should begin from page 3 under theheadings: Introduction, Material and Method,Results and Discussion. References andAppendix should follow on separate pages.· Each table should be on separate page, numberedwith Ara bic numerals and provided with a shortdescriptive title. The findings of the tablesshould not be repeated in the text.Case Reports and Brief Communications· These should be brief not more than 1000 wordsin length with a maximum of 10 references. Firstpage and second page (with abstract) should besame as for full-length articles.Letters to Editor· The maximum permissible length for letters is500 words with a maximum of 5 references;tables and figures cannot be used. Letters can bein reference to articles published in this journal,or any other significant matter.ReferencesThese should be cited in the text by surname of firstauthor and year of publication Vancouver system. Onthe page of References, they should be arranged inalphabetical order of first author. References shouldconsist of names and initials of all authors,publication year, title of the paper, full name of theperiodical, volume, and first and last page numbers..
