ORIGINAL ARTICLEConclusionThere was low level <strong>of</strong> knowledge <strong>of</strong>husband regarding support to be providedduring pregnancy, delivery & post-partumperiod. There was low knowledge <strong>of</strong>husband regarding emergency obstetricconditions during delivery period. It isfound to be low in educated one also.There was low knowledge level <strong>of</strong>husband regarding danger signs orcomplications that may occur duringpostpartum period. And educational leveldoesn’t affect it. There was low practicefor birth preparedness in those also whohave got knowledge about it. There was norelation between education level withknowledge <strong>of</strong> husband regarding supportto be provided during pregnancy, delivery& post-partum period. There was bettersupport by husband in nuclear family thanin joint family size. Support provided byhusband was not affected by the incomelevel during delivery period. Educationallevel <strong>of</strong> husband is associated withknowledge about birth preparednessduring pregnancy period.References1.
