hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath themount. The worship of God has always included music, be it with voices lifted up insongs unto God or the playing of instruments. Lucifer was created withinstruments as a part of his being. He led the angels of God in worship of theCreator. When Lucifer fell and was cast out from the presence of God hismusic did not die or come to an end. He has always used music to drawsouls unto himself. He has infiltrated the church with his music today and hehas many souls worshipping him instead of God.After Adam fell two sons were born to him, Cain and Abel. Cain was thefirstborn. Cain’s offering of the fruit of the ground was rejected by God butAbel’s offering of the flock was accepted by God. This did not please Cainand he slew his brother. Cain was cast out from the presence of God andwent to dwell in the land of Nod. Coming directly from the lineage of Cainwas Jubal who became the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.Understand that Jubal was not of the lineage of Seth (from whence cameAbraham), but rather he was of Cain and his harp and organ is none otherthan the music of Lucifer. We have no record of any worshipper of God using instruments beforeMiriam and the women of Israel used tambourines or timbrels in singingpraises unto God when Israel crossed the Red Sea and the pursuingEgyptians were drowned. But where did they get the timbrels from? Theyhad only now crossed the Red Sea and before this they were slaves in Egypt. The timbrels were from Egypt and can be traced back to Jubal. So God allowed the timbrels of Egypt to be used by Miriam in singingpraises to Him. God does allow us to use things of the world in our serviceunto Him. But we must be careful when we employ the things of this worldin the service of God. Their use must be covered by prayer and consecration. We cannot be flippant and careless. It was not long before the saidinstruments of Egypt were used in the idolatrous worship of the molten calf.Joshua thought the sound he heard was the sound of war. But Mosesproperly discerned that the sound was associated with dancing unto devils. Itis always dangerous when Christians use the things of this world. Love notthe world, neither the things that are in the world. (1 Jn 2:15) And they that
