PopulationMigration of the populationThe migration of the population includes the all persons whohave declared a change of their present address in the countryor abroad.Sofia (stolitsa), Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Shumen are thedistricts with positive migration increase (the differencebetween immigrants and emigrants) in 2012.The population in the districts Blagoevgrad, Pleven, and Vratsahas the biggest decrease as a result of the negative migrationbalance.Figure 10.
