EmployeesLabour marketEmployees are all persons who have a labour contract with theiremployer by virtue of the Labour Code or the Civil ServantsAct and who receive remuneration in cash or in kind for certainquality and quantity of work done. The average annual number ofemployees under labour contract is the arithmetic mean value ofthe average monthly number of employees. The average monthlynumber of employees is the arithmetic mean value of the dailynumber of employees (sum of the daily number of employeesdivided by the number of days of the <strong>reference</strong> month).Figure 6.
