Accept our invitation to stay at Blair
Castle Caravan Park at the centre
of historic Atholl Estates, and you
will escape everyday urban life.
Extending to over 30 acres of
parkland within the historic
landscape of Blair Castle, the park
combines spectacular mountain
scenery with five star facilities, firstclass
accommodation, and
thoughtfully placed amenities.

The park is in an excellent central
location providing an ideal base for
touring, being at the foot of the
Cairngorms National Park, and
within two hours drive from
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and
Inverness.
Surrounded by miles of beautiful
riverside and woodland, the village
of Blair Atholl is only a few minutes’
walk away. Blair Castle, the ancient
seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl
is open for visitors daily during the
summer months.
Guests can also enjoy the walking
and cycling trails that surround Blair
Atholl, many venturing far into the
hills behind the park.
With our excellent facilities, a
wonderful scenic setting and central
location, Blair Castle Caravan Park
is simply a great holiday destination
for both families and couples (and
even the family dog).

A home away from home
Both couples and families will find
our two and three bedroom caravan
holiday homes ideal for a holiday
break. Each of our fully heated
holiday homes hold the prestigious
Thistle Award for quality and feature
all the modern conveniences you
would expect in a home away from
home.
The kitchens are fully equipped with
gas cookers, microwaves, fridges
with freezer compartments,
crockery and cutlery.
To help you settle in after your
journey, a welcome tray for tea and
coffee is laid out on arrival.
The lounge area features sofa style
seating and a television and DVD
player. Our two bedroom models
can accommodate up to four
people, while our three bedroom
models can accommodate up to
four adults and two children.
Duvets, linen and pillows are
provided for your convenience
(please bring your own towels).

Each holiday home also has a
bathroom with shower, wash hand
basin and toilet.
Outside you can enjoy the views and
the sunshine, as all of our holiday
homes have either a verandah with
garden furniture or patio area
complete with picnic table and
benches.
Dogs are welcome, however this is
strictly by prior arrangement only
and is subject to suitable caravans
being available.
Extras such as high chairs, infant
cots and bed rails can be provided
and are available for a small charge.
All our holiday homes are non
smoking.

Stop a while
Blair Castle Caravan Park is one of
the most centrally located holiday
parks in Scotland making it an ideal
base for touring, with a wide range
of attractions within a reasonable
drive time.
Walkers and cyclists need only go a
short distance to find themselves on
our 40 mile network of way-marked
trails. There is a route to suit every
need, from the gentle 1 mile Red
Squirrel Trail to the tougher 10 mile
Glen Tilt trail.
163 miles of paths and tracks offer
plenty of opportunity to explore,
whilst Atholl Estates’ 7 munros
provide a challenge for hill walkers.
Keen fisherman can arrange a day
on one of our renowned salmon
rivers or 3 hill lochs (in season).
The magnificent Blair Castle and
gardens is just a short walk away
and Blair Castle Trekking Centre
offers everyone from beginners to
experienced riders the opportunity
to explore Atholl Estates on the
back of a traditional Highland pony.

The park has over 280 hard-standing
and grass pitches for touring
caravans, motor homes and tents.
Most of the pitches can
accommodate awnings and gazebos
and many are supplied with mains
services.
For your convenience, the park has
several discreet chemical disposal
points and a motor home waste
disposal point.
The park’s five toilet and shower
blocks are all heated, with individual
cubicles, showers, baby changing
rooms and dish-washing areas.
For those looking to stay at Blair
Castle Caravan Park on a more
regular basis, we offer a number of
seasonal sites for rent along the
borders of the park’s grounds. Please

information.

Our modern facilities
Blair Castle Caravan Park features a
multi-purpose reception building
which houses a games room, small
shop, internet gallery and a
launderette.
The fully-equipped games room will
keep children amused for hours with
a pool table, table tennis, table
football, television and video arcade
games. Our shop stocks a range of
everyday essentials as well as the
estate’s own Atholl Glens organic
burgers and sausages.
The launderette has machines for
washing and drying of clothing, as
well as a drying room with lockable
cages for outdoor clothing. Ironing
facilities also available.
Outside you can burn off some
holiday energy on the miniature
football pitch, putting green or
playground. Alternatively you can
just relax and enjoy the sunshine
in our large grassed reception area
with picnic benches. Public
telephones are located near the
entrance.

Blair Castle Caravan Park is dedicated
to protecting the environment and
participates in the Green Tourism
Business Scheme. The park has
recycling facilities available and we
are continually improving the
sustainability of the park’s operations
for your enjoyment whilst
considering the environmental
impact of our actions.
The park is now home to the Atholl
Hair & Beauty Room, where a warm
and friendly team offer an extensive
range of hair styling, massages,
beauty treatments and alternative
therapies. Sit back and enjoy the
finishing touch to a wonderfully
relaxing holiday with us.

receive discounted admission to Blair
Castle and gardens during their stay.
Blair Castle and gardens are open
daily from April to October and on
selected days in winter.

Best known for Blair Castle, Atholl
Estates extends beyond Glen Bruar
and Glen Tilt to the North and as
far as Dunkeld and Birnam to the
South. Park guests are warmly
invited to discover more of the
estate when they visit. There are
many ways to get out and about
including land rover tours with a
game-keeper or ranger, childfriendly
tractor tours of the castle
grounds and surrounding farmland

Caravan Park Rules
1. Authority for the conduct of the Park is
vested in the Manager or their
representative. In this connection, entry
may be refused to or removal required
of any persons, tent or caravan.
2. Visitors are required to book in on arrival
and check out on final departure.
3. Speed Limit - Strictly 5 mph (8 km/h) for
cars and bicycles.
4. One - Way System - The one-way roads
system applies to cyclists as well as
vehicles, and must be observed at all
times. Cycling is not permitted between
pitches
5. Motorised scooters, skateboards and quad
bikes are strictly prohibited on any part
of the Park.
6. Noise - All quiet by 11 pm – at all other
times, noise should be kept to a minimum
to avoid disturbance to other Park visitors.
7. Parking - Fire Regulations stipulate that
only one car per pitch is permitted.
Additional cars should be parked in the
car park and paid for at Reception.
8. Barbecues and Fires - Barbecues are
permitted, except in tent areas, but they
must be of proper construction, the base
of which must not come in to contact
with the grass or pitch marker. Please
ensure that coals are properly extinguished
before placing in refuse bins. Open fires,
of any nature, are strictly prohibited.
9. Dogs are permitted on the Park provided
that they are kept on short leads. They
must not be allowed to soil the ground
within the Park - accidents must be cleared
up immediately. Dogs can be exercised
on the extensive walks surrounding the
Park - again, accidents must be cleared
up immediately. Dogs must be supervised
at all times on the Park and never left
unattended.
10. All visitors are asked to keep the toilet /
shower facilities as clean and tidy as
possible - not to leave taps running or
put articles likely to cause obstructions
into the basins, sinks or toilets.
11. The contents of chemical toilets must be
emptied only at the disposal points
provided.
12. Suitable receptacles must be used for the
collection of waste water - these should
not be allowed to over-flow and must be
emptied only at the disposal points
provided.
13. Smoking is not permitted in any of the
public buildings. Please dispose of
cigarette ends carefully in the receptacles
provided.
14. Litter must always be placed in the many
refuse bins provided around the Park.
The irresponsible discard of litter, by any
person, adult or child, will not be
tolerated.
15. The washing of dishes, clothes and pets
is not permitted within the toilet / shower
facilities. Facilities for those purposes are
provided elsewhere on the Park.
16. Water - Hot water must not be carried
from the toilet / shower facilities for any
purpose.
17. Hose-pipes - The use of hosepipes for
washing cars, caravans is strictly
prohibited.
18. Games - Visitors should use the central
area provided. Please do not cause a
disturbance by playing between pitches.
Practise golf is not permitted on any part
of the Park.
19. Laundry - The hanging of clothes on lines
outside caravans or tents, or on fences,
is not permitted. Washing lines are
provided near to the laundry.
20. Children - Parents are responsible for
providing all supervision of their children
whilst on the Park and in all buildings,
children must not be allowed to play in
the toilet/ shower facilities.
21. Gazebos are not permitted on the park.
22. The Park Warden is there to assist park
customers and help maintain a peaceful
and safe environment for everyone. Failure
to comply with a Warden’s request, may
result in the removal from the Park (in
conjunction with the Police, where
necessary) of any persons, tent, caravan,
motorhome or vehicle.

Location
Located in Highland Perthshire, Blair Castle Caravan Park is situated in the village
of Blair Atholl. We are within two hours’ drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen
or Inverness via the main A9 road. There are train stations in Blair Atholl (1/2 mile
away) and Pitlochry (7 miles away), with regular connecting services from all the
major Scottish cities. A daily express service to and from London’s Kings Cross
station stops at Pitlochry, and the Caledonian Sleeper to and from London Euston
stops at Blair Atholl station.
