It is a baptism similiar to the plantsthat lose their flowers and re-bloom the following year.Baptism is a type of death followed by a resurrection tolife. That is why God cannot commit murder. In thefinal resurrection, everyone is made alive. God cankill, but He is The Only One who can resurrect. Humans,who commit murder, cannot bring anyone backto life. Life is a gift given by God.At The Tower of Babel, they began to worship the creationinstead of God. Solomon said, “there is no new[physical] thing under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Asa human civilization, the world has been in Babylonsince the beginning of time. Jesus said, “Come out ofher [Babylon], my people” (Revelation 18:4). Everyoneseems to worship physical things all their lives. Theirinterests revolve around houses, power, money, busineses,sports, entertainment and, even, themselves.Hating oneself is, also, idolatry. Hating yourself meanseverything revolves around you and it is still a formof worshipping oneself. Job had great losses and wasin horrible pain. He never thought he deserved to bepunished as he was. His entire focus was on himself.He wouldn’t listen to his friends. And, he didn’t wantto listen to God. However, he always obeyed God. Hewas self-righteous and, therefore, became his own idol.
