A World In Wickedness31ephah is a huge weight. “And I said, What is it? Andhe said, This is an ephah that goes forth. He said moreover,This is their resemblance through all the earth.And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and thisis a woman [Eve] that sits in the middle of the ephah.And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into themiddle of the ephah [weighty curse]; and he cast theweight of lead upon the mouth thereof. Then lifted I upmine eyes and looked, and, behold, there came out twowomen and the wind was in their wings; for they hadwings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up theephah between the earth and the heaven. Then said Ito the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bearthe ephah? And he said to me, To build it a house in theland of Shinar: and it shall be established and set thereupon her own base” (Zechariah 5:6-11).The curse that spread worldwide with the wickednessof the weighty ephah came from The Land of Shinarand The Tower of Babel (Genesis 10:10). Nimrod wasits first worldwide Emperor who spread this curse ofwickedness to the four corners of the earth. The worldhas continued under this curse of wickedness to thisvery day.
