He could reunite his entireempire: East, West, North and South.The Christian DilemmaOver the last several centuries, Gnostics (the spirituallyknowledgeable ones, the élite and the educated ofthe day) penetrated Christianity. “Gnosticism” wasn’ta religion but “a philosophy” taught in many schools.The Jews, Asians and Romans all had their personalor ethnic Gnostic ideologies.Many Christian Bishops in The Roman Empire wereeducated and were true believers in Gnosticism. Theycontinued to be educated in Gnosticism. It all dependedupon what was taught in their universitiesjust like today.Christianity in Constantine’s time was rife with TheGnostic Philosophy. Constantine wanted to uniteChristianity by resolving the differences in ideologiesamong The Gnostic Bishops. The Council of Nicea,in 325 C.E., was held by Constantine to resolve thesematters. The major dispute concerned The Divinityof Christ. Did Jesus always exist or did God give lifeto Him? Of The 600 Bishops from Christian churchesaround The Mediterranean Sea, only about 250-280attended The Council. The rest did not attend.
