Year 4 - Swimming Lessons - Epsom Primary School

26 th September 2013Dear ParentsSwimming Lessons for Year 4 ChildrenYear 4 will be starting their swimming lessons on Friday 8 th November 2013 and continue once a week,their last session will be on Friday 13 th December at the Rainbow Centre. The children will walk to andfrom the Rainbow Centre and we aim to be back in school by 3.15pm.The children will be taught by qualified swimming instructors, with a teacher at the poolside to assist. It isimportant that children with long hair have their hair tied back, that the boys wear swimming trunks (notBermuda shorts) and no bikinis for girls. If your child has a verucca, it must be covered with a veruccasock, which can be bought from any Chemist. Please support us by ensuring that your child brings in his orher costume (and towel!) each week and that he or she attends regularly. We do ask for a note shouldyour child be unable to swim for any reason during this time. Unfortunately no refunds will be given formissed lessons.The cost for the 6 week block will be £12.00. This can be paid in full, in advance or in weekly instalments,a payment card will be issued, should you choose this method. You can also pay for these lessons onlineonce you have registered. Please see the office for more details regarding this.We would very much appreciate help from parents in walking the children to and from the Rainbow Centre.If you are able to help and have a DBS check, please indicate this on the slip overleaf.Please complete the permission slip attached and return it to your child’s class teacher by Monday 14 thOctober 2013.
