(“China XLX Fertiliser” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiariesknown as the “Group”) (HKSE: 01866.HK; SGX: B9R.SI) Mr. Liu Xingxu hasrecently received an interview by China Central Television-1’s News Simulcastprogram on the topic of “10-year Plan to Rejuvenate 120 Ageing IndustrialBases”, in which he introduced to audiences the Group’s achievements intechnological research and innovation, production upgrades as well as energysavings and environmental protection.Chairman Liu said in the interview, “Over the years, the Group has attachedgreat importance to technological research and innovation and activelypromoted the use of new equipment, new craftsmanship and new technologiesto reduce energy consumption and emissions. We sped up technologicalinnovation and production upgrades, opening up a new way for thedevelopment of coal-based chemicals with “low cost, low emissions and highefficiency”. Our efforts have been widely recognized in the market.”The Group proactively adopts various global advanced technologies such ascoal-water slurry gasification to push for energy savings and environmentalprotection. It is also the first enterprise in the industry to recycle sewage waterfrom nitrogenous fertilizer production.
