Adding ants in the network did lower the call blockage until it leveled off, butthere were more fluctuations. The graphs are not as even and uniform like the graphs in the othercall models. This is mainly because the hotspot was always in a random location every cycle. Theants were unable to adapt to network conditions as easily as the other two centre-oriented callmodels. Due to this, more fluctuations in the results should be expected. If the simulations wereaveraged over more runs, such as ten instead of five, the graphs should become more uniform.Agents in the Random Hotspot call model reduced the number of calls blocked by 55% - 77%.When the number of ants were allowed to adjust automatically, it sometimes resulted in more antsin the system than required. This was especially apparent with higher call rates. However, theadapted number of ants did result in a call blockage rate that was close to the minimum that was30
