#411 providing for the submission

the district at a special election
to be held therein on February
8, 2011, of a proposition to authorize
the District to levy an
additional tax to provide a total
of $65,400,000 for the District’s
Capital Project Fund for
the purpose of building classroom
additions and expansion
of core facilities and temporary
structures at Redmond High
School and Eastlake High
School and to construct and
equip one new secondary
school, such levies to be made

MENTS: The Planning Commission
is considering amendments
to the Sammamish Municipal
Code. The proposed
amendments to the Sammamish
Municipal Code will:
1) Authorize professional offices
in the R-12 through R-18
zones in the Inglewood and
Pine Lake Centers. This
would allow licensed professionals
such as real estate
agents, doctors, engineers,
accountants and similar professions
to establish offices in
these areas.
2) Prohibit the keeping of
chicken roosters (but would
not affect the keeping of chicken
hens). There have been
approximately two complaints
in the past few years related to
the noise produced by roosters
being kept in the City.
