He has curated numerous exhibits inCanadian and <strong>American</strong> Museums and is the author of more than 50 publications dealing with<strong>American</strong> <strong>Indian</strong> arts.Doug <strong>Salveson</strong> is currently a Professor of Art at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio wherehe served as Gallery Director for 32 years (1971-2003). He has conducted numerous seminars andlectures and has long been an appraiser of <strong>American</strong> <strong>Indian</strong> Art with an emphasis on Southwesternceramics.Founded in 1995 by Wes Cowan, Cowan’s <strong>Auctions</strong> has undergone rapid growth and is on track togenerate sales of $8 million in 2005.
