The Pet Food program continues to feed the dogs and cats of meal recipients. These<br />
pets provide valuable companionship for their homebound owners so thank you to<br />
all of you who have helped continue this special program. Donations of dry dog<br />
and dry cat food are always needed and welcomed.<br />

<strong>On</strong>ce again, <strong>Lubbock</strong> <strong>Meals</strong> on <strong>Wheels</strong> completed the Twelve Days of Christmas<br />
Project. Thanks to the hard work of various schools, businesses, and organizations,<br />
the clients of <strong>Lubbock</strong> <strong>Meals</strong> on <strong>Wheels</strong> received a different special treat on each of<br />
the twelve working days prior to the Christmas holiday. Items included calendars,<br />
puzzles, edible goodies, as well as personal and household necessities. Pets were not<br />
forgotten as each animal on the Pet Program received a Christmas treat bag. Thank<br />
you to all the volunteers that made these extra special deliveries and thank you to the<br />

Get a Jump Start on Spring Cleaning!<br />
Ready to get organized for the New<br />
Year, but don’t want to wait for spring<br />
cleaning? Delta Theta Chi is planning<br />
their annual garage sale to benefit <strong>Lubbock</strong><br />
<strong>Meals</strong> on <strong>Wheels</strong>. The sale isn’t<br />
until April 25th and 26th but thanks to<br />
the generous donation of some storage<br />
buildings they are able to accept items<br />
from now until the event. Please only<br />
contribute items that are clean, in working<br />
order, gently used, etc.<br />
