Schedulesand entry forms can be downloaded at http://www.hickstead.co.uk/horseshows/competitor-zone/the-longines-royal-international-horse-show.aspxThisis a special arrangement set up between the Longines RIHS and SurreyCounty Show which is taking place one week later this year, due to thechange in Bank Holiday date.Horses competing in the Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain classes attheir affiliated shows cannot compete in Hack & Riding Horse classes at thesame show.This does not apply to SHB(GB) Working Hunter and Ridden Sports Horseclasses.The three highest placed prize winners in all open affiliated classes will qualifyto compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme <strong>Classes</strong> at the NationalChampionship Show on the 7th-8th September 2012.SPECIALThe BSHA offer a Novice, Young <strong>Ride</strong>r and Amateur Rosette in each Openclass and a Championship Rosette for each section.An award of £15 in each class will be given to the highest placed amateurcompetitor - armbands must be worn.This Show is a qualifier for the BLUE CHIP & IRISH DRAUGHT HORSESOCIETY (GB) £2,OOO CHALLENGE. The highest placed horse (notalready qualified) from each of the following <strong>Classes</strong> (12-13) that is registeredor eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport HorseRegisters, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding, willqualify for the Final of the Blue Chip and IDHS (GB) Challenge. Horses neednot be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) to qualify, butmust be on the IDHS (GB) registers by the time of the Championship, whichwill be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show (date and venue to beannounced). NB. A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless ofthe type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each qualifier willreceive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required tocomplete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) thatthey have qualified for the Final. Following submission of the online form, aqualifier’s pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, theChampion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a trophy and a Blue Chip rug.The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will beawarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed pure bred Irish Draughtwill be awarded a trophy and £100 and the highest placed 158cms (15.2hh)and under will receive a trophy and £50.
