NPS Mountain and Moorland Qualifying Rounds: These classes are judgedunder the Rules of the NPS. Ponies must be registered in the main body oftheir respective Mountain & Moorland Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible.Qualifying rounds for most NPS competitions are open to ponies owned byNPS members and non-members, but only ponies owned by adult NPS Full,Standard or Life members are eligible to qualify for the final of the competitionat the NPS Summer Championship in Malvern on the 1st-3rd August 2012.The highest placed pony owned by an NPS member in each class will qualifyfor the Final. Where this pony has already qualified the pony standing next inline which is owned by an NPS member and has not already qualifiedreceives the qualification. Qualification may go no lower than 3rd place.Judges and/or stewards are requested to check membership cards prior topresenting the qualifying rosettes. NPS Standard members will be required toupgrade to Full Members to enter the Final.The NPS/Ringside Stud M&M Open Ridden National ChampionshipNPS/Rosettes Direct Home Produced Ridden Championship – wear whitearm bands. Open to registered pure bred Mountain and Moorland stallions,mares and geldings four years old or over.The NPS/The Minns Ridden Silver Medal Rosette is offered by the NationalPony Society for the best registered pony in the M&M Open Ridden Section.To be judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS Silver Medal Rosettes areonly awarded when the Owner of the champion pony is a Full, Standard orLife member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the<strong>Ride</strong>r’s/Handler’s possession on entering the ring and be producedimmediately on request by either the judge or the steward. If the Owner of theChampion pony is not a member, or the Owner’s membership card is notimmediately produced, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve Championprovided they have the required membership card. If the Champion pony haspreviously qualified it is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but theQualification Card goes to the Reserve Champion pony, provided the Ownerof that pony is a member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and theQualification Card can be awarded no lower than first Reserve. Qualifiers areentitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Rosette Championship tobe held at the NPS Summer Championship Show 1st-3rd August 2012.Champion 199Reserve 177This show is affiliated to the Ponies Association UK (Aff.
