Saturday and the Missing FireStation:This year TOMARLEGO washonoured by the presence of TormodAskildsen, head of LCD (LEGOCommuniy Development). Tormodcame to know this rowdy gangof people who does MOCs andorganizes exhibitions in the edge ofEurope, and he brought with him atremendous amount of patience todeal with our Q&A session. He meteveryone present, he asked about theMOCs, he “prodded” some of us - andyes, you got to feel the emotion. I gotan autographed brick, even though Ibet this rock-star welcome is commonfor him...The greatest surprise of all wasmeant to be delivered by Tormodhimself - set 10197 (Fire Brigade). UPS,however, lost it... so we were left toview the pictures of an awesome setbefore (almost) everyone else. Andthen we bid on it on an auction. Again.And again. Until the value was quitehigh, and everyone’s jaws dropped allaround.
