Also theraffle has been pulling in over $200.Many thanks to all who donate theneat prizes and to Susan Walker whodoes such a good job hustling, I meanselling, tickets.I would like to start out by once againthanking Charlie Fosnaugh for hisoutstanding effort in getting us throughthe whole logo/shirt process. Hedesigned the alternate logos, workedwith StitchMaster to get us a great dealand is handling the ordering of the clubsubsidized shirt for all members. Greatjob Charlie!I’m sure everybody had a good timeon the Ventura run. We were inMonterey with Jan’s family those daysso had to miss it. I really wish wecould have made it, especially thedrive through the Ojai countryside.See you all at the next meeting.GARYHopefully everyone who wants to go onthe President’s Mystery Run has signedup by the time you read this. Thecutoff for signing up was August 1 st andthe trip fee, $550, is due by the August18 th meeting. You can turn in yourcheck at the meeting or mail it to me.We will start at 7:30 AM on Sunday,October 25 th and be home about 5:30PM Thursday, October 29 th . Theweather on the trip should bemoderate so no parkas or bikinisrequired. Think layers. If you have anyquestions, other than where we’regoing, please give me a call or emailme.
Central Valley CorvettesGeneral Meeting MinutesJuly 21, 2015The General Meeting was called to orderat 6:30pm by President Gary Pflepsen.The minutes from, the June generalmeeting were read by Debby Anderson,Secretary. Joyce Kroeker made a motionto accept the minutes as read and it wasseconded by Chuck Laningham. Motioncarried.Treasurer’s report was given by MikeLebda. From now on there will be no 2 ndparty checks to the club. All checks will bemade out to CVC only.Skip Severance, Vice President of Activitieshad run leaders report on their previousruns. Future runs of Movie night, BassLake lunch, Sugar Pine Railroad and thePresidents Mystery Run were discussed.Dick Danielsen, Vice President of PublicRelations gave the Birthday andAnniversary report. New members Tomand Marcy Jarvis became official tonight,their sponsors were Glenn and LorraineHenderson. New members Joe and SarahGarcia also became official tonight. Theirsponsors were Keith and Debbie Garrison.There were no guests tonight and we nowhave 88 members in the club.Craig Hansen, Parliamentarian remindedus we will have nominations for new officersin two months. Sergeant of Arms, ChuckLaningham collected for missing badges.Jan Pflepsen gave a very extensive Sunshineand clouds report.Old Business:The club voted YES on subsidizing $10 pershirt per member. Keith Garrison made amotion to accept the vote and Tom Piercysecond. $17.00 each per shirt including theLogo for Regular size shirts. Plus $2 for 2X,$3 for 3X, etc. and $1 extra for Tall. Hats are$19.50 and will come with the Logo as well.New Business:Skip addressed the idea of the club making acharitable donation to the charity of ourchoice and suggested it should be at least$1,000. Charlotte had been wanting to bringthat up as well. Skip suggested we go homeand think about a charity we are passionateabout and we will discuss it and have a voteat the next meeting.Ed Dena is giving some great deals on 2015’sso stop by there and check them out if youare interested in a new car.The next General meeting will be August 18,2015. The next Board Meeting will be July28 th at Dick Danielsen’s at 7:00 pm.
