A F O A C H A P T E R D E V E L O P M E N T A N D S U P P O R T26AFOA QUEBECMembershipAFOA Quebec had 34 members at March 31,2009.Training and Events> A Workshop on Financial Reporting for new accounting standardsaffecting First Nations held in English with simultaneous translationin French on November 13th, 2008 in Gatineau, Quebec;> The Annual General Assembly of AFOA Quebec was held onNovember 13th, 2008 in Gatineau, Quebec;> Participation in the AFOA Canada National Conference held fromFebruary 24th to 26th, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta;> A Workshop on Financial Reporting for new accounting standardsaffecting First Nations held in French on March 19th, 2009, inQuebec City.Other AchievementsAFOA Quebec assisted several students to attend AFOA Canada AnnualGeneral Assembly in Calgary and also sponsored several other individualsto attend its workshops.
