Take Away Points• Medications IVPB only P - procainamide I - isoproterenol N - norepinephrine D - dopamine• Medications IVP orIVPB V - vasopressin A – amiodarone,adenosine, atropine L - lidocaine E - epinephrine• Trachealadministration L – lidocaine E – epinephrine A – atropine N – naloxone V - vasopressin• Doses usually 2-2.522.5 timesthose given IVP• Follow each dose with 10ml NS flush down trachealtube if not diluted to thatvolume for administration
