Technical solutionsto improve productivityThe two traction motors, brakes and transmission on the XE 13-20 ac are integrated into the front axle and protectedfrom external agents such as dust and water (IP 54).The two traction motors and pump motor guarantee optimal acceleration, gradeability and lifting speed performance.The new electronic system upgraded with AC technology is fully customizable and ensures greater autonomy due to theoptimization of energy consumption.The multiple-disk oil-bath brakes, which assist the powerful regenerativebraking function, offer the best solution for braking efficiency and modularityand also reduce operating costs because they are maintenance free.The XE trucks are easy to use on ramps, stopping automaticallyupon release of the accelerator and then descending at an automaticallycontrolled speed after a few seconds.
The XE 13-20 ac truck features the OM INTRINSIC SAFETY PROGRAM (OMISP) systems aimedat ensuring maximum safety under any operating condition.The OMISP provides the following features:■ Automatically reduces speed while curving■ The mast safety system locks out the hydraulic functions if the operator is not on board(in compliance with ISO 3691-1)■ Electronic differential that maintains the direction of the truck when braking even on difficult terrainThe OMISP systems represent the features of a truck that has been specifically designed to guaranteemaximum safety.
