The decrease inother areas ranged from 2.3 per cent in Northern Grenadines to 5.3 per cent inGeorgetown.1.4 Population DensityIn 2001, there were 707 persons per square mile in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.This population density was slightly lower compared to 1991 with 709 persons per squaremile, (Table 1.4).
