Building the business fitted in well with myrole as co-commentator with Murray Walker on the BBC Grand PrixTV programme. PISTONSAT DAWN!CATERHAM PURSUITNORTHERNACTIVITYAREAYou’ll be timed or scored on every activity atPalmerSport but this is one with a difference:a head to head contest against one of yourteam-mates on two identical mirror imagecourses with straights, hairpins and a miniroundabout.It all looks deceptively simple at first, but then thelights count down and it’s GO as you blast from thestart in one of our Caterhams, balancing grip againstpower as you slip and slide against the clock!Of course you’ll want to go as fast as possible, but with the dividingline between hero and zero being often a millimetre too much throttleapplied a millisecond too early, you’ll need to apply maximumconcentration for perfect powerslides. Even ifyou have been to a PalmerSport event before, you will need towatch the essential safety briefing video as this is an insurancerequirement.Please Note: If you’ve not registered before the briefingstarts, you will need to watch a replay of this video beforeyou can take to the circuit, which may result in a loss ofdriving time.Journey TimePlease allow plenty of time for your journey. We understandthat traffic can disrupt the best-laid plans though, so don’tworry if you are delayed as we will ensure that you join yourgroup as soon as possible. This is likely, however, to resultin the loss of some driving time. For photocard licences you must produce boththe photocard and paper counterpart.
