Who is Covered?You are covered by this provision of the CAA if you are an employee of one of the following offices or one of itssubunits (including all committees and state district offices):◆ The House of Representatives◆ The Senate◆ The Capitol Guide Service◆ The Capitol Police◆ The Congressional Budget Office◆ The Government Accountability Office (GAO)*◆ The Library of Congress*◆ The Office of the Architect of the Capitol◆ The Office of the Attending Physician◆ The Office of <strong>Compliance</strong>* Because of differing legal interpretations, it remains uncertain whether employees of the GAO and the Library of Congress have the statutory rightto use the administrative and judicial procedures provided under this provision of the CAA. The Office of <strong>Compliance</strong> will counsel any employee whoinitiates proceedings that a question has been raised as to the Office of <strong>Compliance</strong>’s and the court’s jurisdiction under the CAA and that the employeemay wish to preserve his or her rights under any other procedural options.75Uniformed Services Rights and Protections
