MoLAA AWARDSIn celebration of its Ten-Year Anniversary, MoLAA inaugurates the MoLAA Awards, the first juried art competition formid-career artists from all regions of Latin America.One-hundred and thirty-two artists from the Spanish/Portuguese speaking regions of Mexico, Central and SouthAmerica and the Caribbean, have submitted diverse and powerful works of art to the competition. The art has beengrouped thematically in the styles of portraiture, abstraction, landscape/urbanscapes, still life, expressionism, surrealismand photo-manipulation.A panel of experts in the field of contemporary Latin American art will judge the works, and the winners will receiveawards totaling $100,000. The MoLAA Awards winners will be announced at 4:00 p.m. on September 30th, and thewinning works will be accessed to the MoLAA Permanent Collection.
