Features needed for21 CFR Part 11 complianceSkanIt Software has been designedtaking the requirements of 21 CFRPart 11 into account. It is basedon a database and all sessions andmeasurement data are saved in thedatabase, thereby ensuring optimaldata integrity and easy backup ofdata.SkanIt Software supports the useof separate User Groups that havedifferent access to the softwarefeatures. There are predefinedUser Groups, but additional groupscan be added and the rights of theexisting groups can be modified.Logon to SkanIt Software requires aunique combination of a user nameand a password thereby limitingsystem access to authorized usersonly. No two users can have thesame user name and the passwordmust be changed on a regular basisas defined by the system administrator.All actions regarding user management(changing or adding UserGroups, adding new users to thedatabase, changing the rightsof users etc.) are automaticallyrecorded in a time-stamped AuditTrail. Additionally, all actions regardingthe creation of new sessions,changes to existing sessions,execution of sessions etc. are alsoautomatically recorded in the AuditTrail.
