ATTENTION Junior Exhibitors Make sure to purchase your ND Futurity Show heifer here! As in the past few years, the members of the nD simmental classic sale and the members of the northwest select sale will be holding a junior futurity show in conjunction with the nD state Fair show. All open females sold in these two sales will be eligible to compete at the nD state Fair in July 2010. the number of entries determines the number of classes. the show will be immediately following the nDJsA show. only the champion and Reserve will receive a savings bond. the champion will receive an $800 savings bond and the Reserve champion will receive a $400 savings bond. the only other requirement to compete in the futurity show is that you are a member of the nD Junior simmental Association and the cost of the membership is $5.00. Round 1 – Final bid is $300 to John Doe. John’s donation is $300. Round 2 – Final Bid is $250 to Joe Public. Joe’s donation is $250 subsequent Rounds – the female is re-auctioned until no further bids are received at the low of $10. • Each $10 donation represents one chance in the final draw. in the example above, John has 30 changes and Joe has 25. • One ticket for each $10 donated, bearing the contributor’s name, will be put into the drawing. • At the end of the sale, one ticket will be drawn and that person will win the heifer.
