<strong>Madison</strong> <strong>Library</strong><br />
Cooperation Policy<br />
1. The <strong>Madison</strong> <strong>Library</strong> recognizes the need <strong>to</strong> cooperate with other libraries in New<br />
Hampshire, both at the local and state-wide levels. These libraries may be public, private,<br />
academic, medical, legal, or other specialty libraries.<br />
2. The <strong>Library</strong> recognizes that the New Hampshire State <strong>Library</strong>’s interlibrary loan system<br />
was established <strong>to</strong> promote cooperation and agrees <strong>to</strong> participate in the program.<br />
3. The <strong>Library</strong> will belong <strong>to</strong> regional library organizations such as the Carroll County<br />
<strong>Library</strong> Cooperative and the Bearcamp Video <strong>Library</strong> Association. The membership will<br />
include planning and carrying cooperative projects.<br />
4. The <strong>Library</strong> will cooperate with the <strong>Madison</strong> Elementary School library and will work<br />
with the school librarian in finding ways <strong>to</strong> better serve the <strong>children</strong> of <strong>Madison</strong>.<br />
