GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
On completing 50 years of its existence, the department is celebrating May 28,
2013 as Golden Jubilee Day. The occasion will be used to bring together all
those who have been associated with the department at different times in its
history. The celebrations will include:
Special extension lecture to be delivered by Prof. Varun Sahni (SIS, JNU)
on "Hegemony, Globalization and the Future of World Politics” the
Lecture will be chaired by Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor.
Social get-together of the Departmental Alumni
Cultural Event
Common lunch
All former Alumni's of the department plus all those who
are presently associated with department as faculty, students and scholars
and office staff are invited for the participation in the function.
Note: Rs.200/- as registration fee for those who are employed and Rs. 50/-
for students.
