Dear Regis Community,
The 2011 Regis Alumni Golf Outing, sponsored by the Regis High School
Alumni Board, is scheduled for Monday, June 13 at The Rockaway Hunting
Club in Lawrence, New York. You are cordially invited to join us for a great
day of golf at one of the great venues in the New York metropolitan area. Artie
Minson ’88, a member of the Regis Alumni Board, is our sponsoring member.
You may register by fi lling out the attached form and returning it to Regis or by
visiting the Regis Alumni Website (www.regis-nyc.org/alumni) and following the
links to ‘Events’ and ‘Event Registrations.’ The entry fee per player is $300.
Please consider inviting classmates, business associates or friends to join you,
and indicate up to three other golfers you wish to play with. We are hoping
for a full fi eld of one hundred players. In addition, there are sponsorship
opportunities available if you’d like to help support this event.
The day will include brunch and adult refreshments on the course. Following
the round of golf, cocktails and dinner will be served on the patio of the club.

Take QMT to the Long Island Expressway to Grand Central Parkway East and
then to Van Wyck Expressway go to EXIT I (Nassau Expressway)*

Take QB to Queens Blvd to Long Island Expressway East to Grand Central
Parkway and then to Van Wyck Expressway, go to EXIT 1(Nassau Expressway)*
FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY
GEORGE WASHINGT0N BRIDGE
Take GWB to the Cross Bronx Expressway, to Exit 6A (Whitestone Bridge)
take Whitestone Expressway to Grand Central Parkway and then to Van Wyck
Expressway, go to EXIT I (Nassau Expressway)*
FROM SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY
NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE
Take NJ TPKE to EXIT 13 (Elizabeth/Verrazano Br.), to the Verrazano Bridge, to
the Belt Pkwy East Exit, on Belt Pkwy go to Exit 19 to Nassau Expressway*
FROM CROSS ISLAND PARKWAY
CROSS ISLAND PARKWAY
Go South on the Cross Island Parkway to exit 24A (Francis Lewis Blvd), make a
right at the stop sign, at the next corner make another right (now traveling on
the overpass of the Cross Island Parkway) at the light make a right to Brookville
Blvd, take Brookville Blvd to Rockaway Blvd and make a left (Rockaway Blvd will
become Rockaway Tpke).*
* Stay in left lanes, go about 7 miles (Nassau Expressway will become
Rockaway Blvd and then Rockaway Tpke) * when Rockaway Tpke turns into
one lane, go three lights and make a left on Broadway, go three lights and
make a right on Briarwood Lane (Note: this road was formally called Cedarhurst
Avenue). Continue on Briarwood Lane and make a left on Ocean Ave. You will
pass Tennis courts on your left and right side. The Club House is on your right.
FROM EASTERN LONG ISLAND
SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY
Go West on the Southern State Parkway to EXIT 19S (Peninsula Blvd), go about 7
miles and make a left on Cedarhurst Avenue, take Cedarhurst Avenue all the way
down (you'll pass three lights; West Broadway, Central Ave and Broadway). After
Broadway, Cedarhurst Avenue becomes Briarwood Lane. Continue on Briarwood
Lane and make a left on Ocean Ave. You will pass Tennis courts on your left and
right side. The Club House is on your right.
