Dead for 45 minutes, hit with the defibrillator 37 times and CPR for an hour and a half – and even though he wasn’t aware,<br />
Kevin was going to fight to survive this heart attack. In December, 2013, Kevin’s life was quickly transformed. Up until this<br />
point, he had lived an unhealthy life and didn’t put a value on living a long, healthy life. He has no recollection from 2 days<br />
before Thanksgiving to December 8 when he woke up in the hospital’s ICU. Kevin was in the hospital for one month, rehab<br />
for three months, then the recovery really started. He challenges everyone to understand the impact we will have on people<br />
when we are gone, and how few of us get a second chance. He is absolutely grateful for his second chance, and now strives<br />
to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.<br />
