Prep switches to four-minute class
changes for new school year

Prep has four-minute class changes for the first time ever this
year. How does this help?
Theology teacher Mrs. Slaby said she hasn't had any problems
from students coming in late or having problems getting to class
on time from the science area. She says it's a little hard to get used
to because she is still thinking about the three minute changes we
had over the last couple of years. But it goes to show it’s a big
help,and she likes it.
Plus there are less distractions during class with fewer people having
to go to the bathroom because they have an extra minute to
take care of that before or after class.
Also, a couple of seniors said they are really thankful for the
change as it makes walking in the hallway easier knowing they
don't have to rush to class. So this change is helpful to all students
and appreciated by everyone in the school.
The hallways at Prep are empty more often than not when
the bell rings these days as students have more time to
travel to and from classes.
