Course Overview

of knowledge and skills relevant to persons
employed as offshore helideck assistants.

Course Content
The syllabus focuses on:
• Assistance with helicopter refuelling
• Handling of passengers, baggage
and freight
• Preparation for helicopter landing
• Preparation for helicopter departure
• Written examination
Target Audience
Personnel who have little or no experience of
working on helidecks and are about to be
employed as helideck assistants.
Certification
Petrofac Training Services-approved certification will
be issued on successful completion of the course.
Revalidation
Not applicable.
Venue
Held at Petrofac Training Services, Forties Road,
Montrose, or at other locations where facilities are
suitable, including overseas.
Items to bring
Coveralls, safety boots, gloves, towel and toiletries
are required. Photographic ID.
Health
All delegates will be asked to complete a
standard medical questionnaire prior to course
commencement.
