1. Be aware of research occurring at Wayne State University as related to women’s reproductive health after spinal cord injury.<br />
2. Identify challenges to providing care to women with disabilities, and ways to overcome them. Identify special considerations<br />
related to pregnancy, contraception, and menopause. Identify methods to modify the physical exam to minimize discomforts and<br />
complications.<br />
3. Gain a clearer understanding of the concerns and needs of women with disabilities seeking health care; and will begin to consider<br />
ways to modify their provision of care to better accommodate this population.<br />
