ENT SET UP DISPLAY Simultaneous display of multiple views on the monitor, e.g. axial, sagittal, coronal, inline and 3D as well as live images from endoscope, microscope, or ultrasound. PRE-DEFINED SETTINGS Pre-defined screen setups optimized for individual ENT procedures available at the touch of a finger. The system instantly enables wireless tracking of pre-existing surgical instruments and gives the surgeon full control via the touchscreen monitor. TOOLBOX A collection of advanced software features, including measurement function, trajectory planning, integration of live endoscopic view, microscope and ultrasound, as well as 3D display options, is stored in the toolbox. VECTORVISION CAMERAS The VectorVision cameras are the core unit of the tracking system. BrainLAB proprietary tracking software algorithms make the underlying Northern Digital Inc. technology the most reliable and accurate passive marker system available. VECTORVISION TOUCHSCREEN No mouse, no keyboard, no hassle — the VectorVision touchscreen puts the physician in complete control of the image-guided system. The ergonomic design and arrangements of software buttons make it a fully integrated system. Spring-loaded arms and a custom-fit sterile drape allow flexible and safe positioning of the touchscreen close to the surgical field. PASSIVE MARKER TECHNOLOGY Passive marker technology was pioneered by BrainLAB in 1996 and since then has set the standard in instrument tracking. With passive markers, attaching cumbersome wires and/or LED lights to instruments is no longer necessary. Virtually any pre-existing surgical instrument is instantly integrated into the surgical procedure.
