Kom Al- Shuqafa Catacombs:<br />
They consist of three levels cut in the rock 100 feet deep. They date back to the turn of the second century . It is a blend of<br />
pharaonic and Roman art.<br />
Qaitbay Citadel<br />
Built on the northern tip of the eastern port. , On the site where the ancient pharos of Alexandria was set up.It was built in the<br />
15th century and consists of three storeys similar to medieval fortress in <strong>Egypt</strong>. It houses the naval museum which revives the<br />
marine heritage of Alexandria.
