Real support
The Study Abroad and
Exchange team can
help you with everything
from the application
process, enrolment,
class information, and
any support you may
need while you are here.
They will ensure that your
transition to life as a QUT
student is as smooth as
possible.
Orientation
A specific orientation for Study Abroad
and Inbound Exchange students
takes place approximately two weeks
before classes and is compulsory for
all students.
This session includes topics such as
enrolment, computing access, faculty
information, immigration regulations,
health cover, QUT rules and
regulations, tuition fees and refunds,
and much more. Students will be able
to meet with faculty advisers who will
assist them in choosing and changing
units.
Social events
The Study Abroad and Exchange
team also organise a weekend trip
to North Stradbroke Island and
a Brisbane River Cruise during
Orientation Week, followed by a
number of catch-up functions during
the semester.
