PLANTING AZALEAS<br />

1. Dig planting hole <strong>at</strong> least 3 times as wide and<br />

1½ times as deep<br />

2. Mix pre-moistened pe<strong>at</strong> moss and ordinary good<br />

topsoil <strong>at</strong> a 1:1 r<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

3. Expose one inch of root ends by spraying<br />

the ball with a forceful stream of w<strong>at</strong>er<br />

4. Place plant quickly in the whole. In heavy clay<br />

soils, the root ball must be elev<strong>at</strong>ed <strong>at</strong> least one<br />

half above the original soil level with planting<br />

Disease Control every 6 weeks starting June 1st for<br />

a total of 3 times in the growing season to prevent<br />

lace bug. Holly-tone & Iron Plus are excellent<br />
