Products and Services JUMO Quantrol controller series 96 mm × 96 mm 48 mm × 96 mm 48 mm × 48 mm New controller series: JUMO Quantrol Resourceful and clever – simply smart! In <strong>automation</strong> technology, it is often the case that the controllers used are "over-engineered" for the applications in question. The compact devices of the new JUMO Quantrol controller series are the perfect choice in such cases, thanks to their reliable basic functions and easy operation. The JUMO Quantrol devices are operated using four buttons with a defined pressure point that are located on the front. The universal analog input is user programmable for the purposes of connecting RTD temperature probes, thermocoupes, or for current / voltage signals. Target values, actual values, and all parameters are displayed to one or two decimal places via two 7-segment LED displays (red / green). Temperature values can be displayed in °C or °F. Depending on the format, up to five relay outputs with a switching capacity of 3 A / 230 V are available. The switch setting of the relay is displayed via yellow LEDs to which different alarm functions can be assigned. An analog output of 0 to 10 V or 0 (4) to 20 mA can be used to control valves or thyristor power controllers. Using the binary input, the configuration and operation of the Quantrol devices can be gradually locked, a ramp or timer can be activated, or autotuning can be initiated. The supply voltage is optionally AC 110 to 240 V or AC / DC 20 to 30 V. All devices have UL / cUL approval. Setup tool saves time The new JUMO Quantrol controller series is available in three DIN formats (48 mm × 48 mm, 48 mm × 96 mm, 96 mm × 96 mm). An RS485 serial interface enables the user to easily connect to higher-level systems or devices. As an alternative to operating the device on the front, the controller can be programmed via the USB interface and setup program. During programming, the controller does not require an additional voltage supply – instead, it is supplied directly via the USB connection. Autotuning As with all JUMO controllers, the devices in the Quantrol series are equipped with proven JUMO autotuning for consistently high-quality controller results. This removes the need to make complicated manual settings, provides security, saves time and costs, and guarantees consistent product quality. The Quantrol series from JUMO is a hit thanks to its simple operation, proven control algorithms, clearly structured setup program, and USB interface as standard. The optical sensor distinguishes itself in providing measurement processes that are particularly low-drift, low-maintenance, and stable in the long term. It has a measuring range of 0 to 20 mg / l and is suitable for applications in communal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, fish farms, water pollution control, and monitoring of drinking water. The JUMO DELOS HP (High Pressure) electronic pressure transmitter is predestined for use on test benches, in laboratory equipment, and in the construction of special machines. It is optionally equipped with either 2 × PNP switching outputs or 1 × PNP switching output and an analog output signal. The measuring range of 160 bar to 600 bar can be rescaled by a factor of 1:4.
