Whether at home or in the workplace, the operation of tablets, smartphones, or other devices via touchscreen is easy, intuitive, and fast. The ability to display results or run commands is quite literally at your fingertips – with pinpoint accuracy. JUMO has already launched several devices with an innovative touchscreen for this reason, including the JUMO mTRON T <strong>automation</strong> system and the JUMO AQUIS touch S multichannel measuring device. JUMO now welcomes the following new members of the touch family: the highlight, the JUMO DICON touch universal process and program controller, and the JUMO AQUIS touch P compact multichannel measuring device – the 'little brother' of the AQUIS touch S analytical measuring device. A touch of class: JUMO DICON touch The new universal 2-channel process and program controller stands out thanks to its extremely consistent controller results. Both controller channels use the proven JUMO control algorithm with two optimization variants that can be selected according to the requirements and applications. This guarantees easy, precise, and time-saving startup. Even complex control tasks such as multi-zone or cascade control can be implemented using the JUMO DICON touch. In addition, it is easier than ever to operate and configure the process JUMO DICON touch delivers highly precise results controller. The easy operation is ensured not only by the vibrant TFT color graphics screen with touchscreen but also by the intuitive operation. High degree of flexibility Thanks to the modular hardware concept, the JUMO DICON touch is extremely flexible and is suitable for use in a variety of different applications. Four analog universal inputs and up to eight external inputs can record different physical measured values with high precision. The actuators can be controlled directly in the control device with either an analog or digital setup. For this purpose, the digital outputs can be expanded using external modules if required. Various interfaces are available for communicating with higherlevel systems. These systems include Modbus (master / slave), PROFIBUS-DP, and Ethernet with Web server. Password-protected user management The JUMO DICON touch also caters to every requirement in terms of safety. The process controller uses passwordprotected user management and individual rights can be granted for different levels or control commands. Important process values can be saved, graphically visualized, and exported via Ethernet or USB interface, free from any kind
of data manipulation. Programming of the process controller is also made easy thanks to the convenient and wellstructured configuration software. For example, the software can be used to describe mathematical and logical connections and to create customerspecific linearizations. The "all-in-one device" is rounded off with a comprehensive alarm and limiting value concept and flexible binary signal management. The device also meets the requirements of UL / cUL, GL, and DIN EN 14597.
