INDEPENDENT AUDIT REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF
BANKSTOWN DISTRICT SPORTS CLUB LIMITED continued
Whilst I considered the effectiveness of management’s internal controls over
financial reporting when determining the nature and extent of my procedures,
my audit was not designed to provide assurance on internal controls.
Independence
In conducting my audit, I followed applicable independence requirements of
Australian professional ethical pronouncements and the Corporations Act 2001.
In accordance with ASIC Class Order 05/83, I declare to the best of my
knowledge and belief that the auditor’s independence declaration set
out in the Directors’ Report has not changed as at the date of providing
my audit opinion.
Audit Opinion
In my opinion , the financial report presents fairly, in all material respects, the
financial position of Bankstown District Sports Club Ltd as of 30 June 2010,
and its financial performance and cash flows for the year then ended in
accordance with the Corporations Act 2001 and the Australian Accounting
Standards (including Australian Accounting Interpretations).
